Babies. They're amazing really. In the last six months, two people really close to me have had babies. One of my best friends, and my Mum. (yes, I'm english, I say Mum not Mom. Get over it :-P) Its so strange when you look at a pregnant woman. You know shes carrying a baby, that its in her stomach, but you don't really think about it. That beneath her skin, and the layers of her womb and amniotic fluid sack is a baby. A baby with hair and fingernails, a baby with little blue eyes and a nose. With soft fine hair and eyebrows and eyelashes. A real person. When I first saw both of these babies I found it hard to believe that these had both come from inside my friend and my Mum. Even though I'd felt them kicking and was well aware they was there, when I first saw them, I was amazed. Morgan and Leo, two real babies who one day will be men. Its amazing to think about isn't it. I suppose babies don't have very interesting lives once they're here though. They eat and sleep and poop and cry. But we love them anyway and are happy to cater for their needs. Good job they're cute isn't it? I love the fact that I'm 17 and Leo's a baby cause it means I get to mother him, you know? I babysit a lot and I LOVE it. He's such a well behaved baby too, makes me want one of my own sometimes! I'm going to university next year though so I guess I'll wait until I'm done there! I get a lot of practice though and I know that when I do have one of my own, I'll know exactly what to do. For now, having ...
